Our IDO Process: A Three-Stage Approach
Our Initial DEX Offerings (IDOs) are conducted in three distinct stages to ensure a seamless and equitable process for all participants:
Staking Period - Users stake GENE & get allocation
Purchase Period - Users buy their allocation
Claim Period - Claim the purchased tokens
Let's delve into each stage in detail:
Staking Period
During the Staking Period, the allocation of project tokens is determined based on your staked GENE. The allocation process is as follows:
Stake GENE: Users stake their GENE tokens to become eligible for token allocation.
Maximize Allocation: The more tokens and the longer the duration you stake, the greater your allocation, as detailed in our "How is Allocation Calculated?" guide.
Purchase Period
Following the conclusion of the Staking Period, the Purchase Period commences. This stage allows users to acquire their allocated tokens:
Token Acquisition: Users purchase the tokens allocated to them based on their staked GENE.
Global Accessibility: The Purchase Period typically lasts around one day, providing ample time for participants from all time zones to complete their purchases.
Mandatory Purchase: Tokens must be purchased within this period. Any unpurchased allocation is forfeited and cannot be acquired later.
Claim Period
Once the Purchase Period ends, the Claim Period begins, allowing users to claim their purchased tokens:
Token Claiming: Users can claim their purchased tokens and transfer them to their wallets.
Flexible Timing: The Claim Period has no expiration. As long as you have bought tokens during the Purchase Period, you can claim them at any time.
Airdrop Option: For some IDOs, tokens may be airdropped directly to users' wallets, eliminating the need for a manual claim process.
By adhering to this structured approach, we ensure that our IDOs are conducted efficiently, transparently, and fairly, providing all participants with a straightforward path to token acquisition and ownership.
